The brief

One continuous move that begins inside a single falling raindrop — refracted light, the world inverted through the lens of water — then pulls back through the drop, the window, the street and finally the whole city, without a cut.

Why it's hard

This is a scale problem across roughly six orders of magnitude in one unbroken take. The refraction has to be physically plausible — a water drop inverts the image behind it — and the world glimpsed inside the drop must match the world you pull out into.

Why it's built this way

The trick of an impossible scale move is making each scale hand off to the next with a physical object — droplet to pane to sill to fire escape to street — so the model has anchors instead of a vague zoom. The inversion righting itself as you exit the meniscus is real optics and is what makes the first beat convincing. The two hesitations are the human-operator requirement: a mathematically perfect pull-out is the tell that no one was holding anything.

Watch for

A smooth uniform dolly-zoom that skips the intermediate scales and lands on a generic skyline; if scales are being skipped, name fewer of them and make each handoff object more specific.
