One unbroken shot, no cut. A woman sits at the same kitchen table across sixty years. She begins at twenty — smooth hands, a jar of instant coffee, a transistor radio — and the camera makes one slow arc around her, never leaving. Age arrives continuously rather than in steps: the hands thin and spot, the knuckles thicken, grey spreads from the temples out, the spine settles, the shoulders narrow. The room ages on the same clock — wallpaper fades and is replaced once, a chair leg gets taped, the radio becomes a small television, a repainted window frame chips again. Light stays sourced from that one window, drifting only with the hour. Dirty foreground: a hanging pan and steam from a kettle crossing the lens. Register of Hirokazu Kore-eda's domestic patience with DP Agnès Godard's window light. Hold on the hands, not the face.

Ageing reads as real when the room ages with the person, so the prompt gives the environment its own decay timeline running on the same clock — that parallel is the craft idea. Holding on the hands rather than the face is a direct application of the canon's ban on the eye close-up as the default emotional beat, and hands happen to be where age is most legible anyway. Vary the arc speed; too fast and it becomes a morph, too slow and the sixty years never land.
Identity drift — the face becoming a different person partway through, or ageing arriving as three discrete jumps rather than a continuous slide; try thirty years first, and keep the hands in frame as the continuity anchor.
