El encargo
Una conversación donde las manos cargan continuamente peso gramatical y pragmático junto al habla: se adelantan o se solapan con cada frase y luego descansan entre frases.
Por qué es difícil
La caricatura coloca un gesto por palabra acentuada, a compás, y nunca descansa. El gesto co-verbal real tiene una relación temporal con el habla completamente distinta.
Enmarcado en hablantes napolitanos de Nápoles, Campania. Italia no es una sola cultura gestual, y un gesto neutro en una región puede ser grosero en otra. Localízalo con alguien de la región, no con un manual.
El gesto se adelanta o se solapa con su frase y luego las manos descansan. Las pausas llevan tanta información como el movimiento.

The tell is timing: real co-speech gesture leads or overlaps its phrase and then rests, while caricature lands one gesture per stressed word, on the beat. Keeping a task under the conversation forces the hands to negotiate between talking and working, which no stock gesture reel does. Frame wide enough that the resting hands are visible — the pauses carry as much information as the movement.
Operatic word-by-word hand-waving with no rests. The register is scoped to Neapolitan speakers. Italy is not one gestural culture, and a gesture that is neutral in one region can be rude in another — if you localise it, check the result with someone from that region.
