SL-69 / Transiciones Ejecutadas Por Cuerpos

the-handoff-out-of-frame
Two shots built to be cut together. Shot A: hands push a dented aluminium thermos across a scarred workbench and extend it out of frame right at chest height, the wrist rotating to present the handle; the arm stays extended a beat, taking the small weight-drop as it is received. Shot B: a second pair of hands closes on the same thermos entering frame left at the identical height and speed, fingers finding the handle already turned toward them. Dirty foreground: brass swarf and a hanging worklamp cable in the near field, out of focus. Shot like Roger Deakins' hands-and-tools coverage, lit by one caged practical and grey window light, mixed temperature, uncorrected. Handheld at 50mm on a Canon K35, f/2.0, focus breathing visible in the transfer, faint chromatic fringe. Cork-dry oak, oxidised aluminium, a thumbprint in machine grease. The camera drifts to follow the object, never anticipating it. 24fps.

Por qué está construido así

A handoff sells the off-screen person by physics, not by acting: the giver's arm must register the moment the weight leaves it, and the receiver must meet the object at the same height and speed. Pre-rotating the handle is the detail that proves two people, not one prop pass. The camera should lag the object slightly — a camera that arrives first knows the future.

Ojo con esto

Weightlessness: the thermos floats and the giving arm never unloads, so the cut reads as two unrelated shots. State the weight transfer and a matched hand height in centimetres in both prompts.
